Cut to hip length like the originals, it looks as dashing today as it did in the 40s. Inside, different linings do different jobs: you've got cotton canvas through the torso, taffeta in the sleeves for easy layering, soft Moleskin at the collar, and Filson's own Alaskan Guide flannel warming the hand pockets. Snap-flap cargo pockets give you storage for your pack of Luckies or whatever, while a wool-blend rib-knit hem and cuffs seal out the wind.
