So many insulated jackets prioritise warmth at the expense of ventilation – but with the Breathable Insulated Jacket from Snow Peak, the clue’s in the name. The outer shell is made from a supple mini-ripstop fabric without the usual DWR coatings, which maximises breathability, lightness and four-way stretch. C0 water repellency handles light weather, and the shell keeps the wind off. Inside, the lining is Polartec's lightest Alpha Direct (67g/m²) – a fluffy open-mesh tech fleece that provides warmth without trapping heat or moisture. The result is a hooded jacket that works as a standalone outer layer through autumn and spring, and as a mid-layer when temperatures drop.
