The Union Pacific Rail Road company came into being on July 1, 1862. It would be responsible for a vast network of railroads across the central and western USA, running from the Missouri River to the Pacific Ocean. Many of the company’s yards and rolling stock were lit by distinctive globe glass caged lanterns, which became known as ‘Union Pacific lanterns’, or sometimes simply ‘railroad lanterns’. Today, they’re incredibly rare, collectable and expensive. But you can add the same retro industrial look to your dinner table or campsite with this modern reinterpretation. It features gorgeous seeded glass and copper accents for a true vintage look, but is powered via a rechargeable Li-Ion battery, giving a run time of 100+ hours on low or 3.5 hours on high. An LED Edison-style bulb provides a classic warming glow, with an adjustable dimmer switch that gives you the perfect level of illumination for every occasion.

They’re just as committed to sustainability, which means reducing waste and minimising environmental impact throughout the product range.
