Anyone who has watched a slice of halloumi drop through a grate and get cremated in the campfire will appreciate the value of this one. Dalum’s nifty Fire Grill Flex holds fish fillets, burgers, sausages, veggies and more captive over any open fire or barbecue, allowing you to flip and sear foods perfectly on both sides. It’s Swedish-made from nickel-plated steel, which keeps rust at bay and makes cleaning easier – just allow to cool and then wipe down with warm water, mild soap and a sponge. Pack it for the riverbank, the campsite or the back garden.
Nobody does outdoor living like the Swedes – they even have a word for it; friluftsliv, or open-air life. And a key part of a life spent outdoors is cooking great food, whether over a fire or a camping stove. Dalum’s founders, Tobias and Daniel, are no exception. That’s why they developed their unique carbon steel griddle, which is around 35% lighter than cast iron. It’s easy to carry, easy to use and even easier to clean, but makes deliciously crispy bacon, crunchy stir-fried veggies and perfect flatbreads.
Dalum griddles are crafted in Sweden using high-quality Swedish carbon steel, with no coatings or chemical treatments. Sustainably made, built to last and available with a range of practical accessories, they’re the perfect companion for the campsite, your back garden or your lakeshore cabin in Uppland.
