The Minipresso is where the Wacaco story started – the original hand-pumped portable espresso machine, built to solve the problem of terrible hotel coffee. The range has moved on since then. The GR2 is the newest and smallest iteration yet: 30% smaller than its predecessor, partly made from wheat-based biomass materials, with a built-in drip tray, dosing funnel, and an adjustable basket for anywhere between 8g and 12g of ground coffee. The NS2 takes the same approach but works with Nespresso-compatible capsules instead – consistent, mess-free, and just as portable. No batteries, no electricity – hot water and a bit of elbow grease is all either one asks for in return for a proper crema-topped espresso.
