  • Patagonia | Fleece Layers

Few brands have thought harder about fleece than Patagonia. They've been at it since the 1980s, and the range that's come out the other side covers pretty much every layering scenario you're likely to find yourself in. The lightweight Snap-T pullover for cool summer nights and shoulder-season travel. The chunky, shearling-pile Retro jackets and vests for basecamp lounging and cold-morning dog walks. The Synchilla Marsupial for the 'just popping out, definitely not driving across Europe in a van' vibe. And the windproof-backed Retro-X for days when the fleece needs to hold its ground against something more than a light breeze. Nearly all of it is made from recycled polyester – much of it from reclaimed fishing nets – in Fair Trade Certified factories, which is exactly the sort of thing you'd expect from a brand that famously gave itself to the planet. Good fleece, good conscience.
