Starting out life as a lover-letter to her husband, Ove, way back in the 1970s, Glerups are living proof that a good idea really can stand the test of time. And from her initial plan just to make a pair of comfortable yet functional slippers that were as good on the environment as they were to Ove’s tootsies, Nanny Glerups’ felt boots have since become a lasting testament to Danish design. They’re simple, eco-friendly and have become the Nordic epitome of sustainability. And we, for one, are right on board; flying the Danish flag for every foot that’s ever found itself buried in a pair of damp synthetic walking boots long into the night. You see, we appreciate a bit of comfort around camp — despite being avid UL adventurers ourselves. After all, when was the last time a little bit of cosiness did anything but revive the vibe around camp?

Today, Glerups have come a long way since their original inception over 50 years ago, having perfected a range of outdoor slippers, slip-ons, shoes and boots.
