HAVEN builds its lanterns to work in places where failure isn’t an option, and that grounding shows up here in a light, easy-to-pack size. It throws up to 650 lumens of warm light as a lantern and torch, switches to a red mode that’s kinder to nocturnal wildlife and keeps the midges away, and still doubles as a power bank when you need it. A full charge from the sun takes an hour, and on its lowest setting that single charge lasts up to 100 hours — plenty for a full week under canvas.
Some outdoor kit is designed for convenience. Haven’s was designed for places where the lights genuinely can’t go out: refugee camps, disaster zones, off-grid communities with no room for kit that lets you down. That’s a decade’s worth of hard-won experience Haven’s now bringing to the outdoors, building lanterns and power banks that are trusted not only in a crisis, but increasingly on camping trips and multi-day adventures too. And they’re doing so with purpose: every purchase helps Haven distribute the same lights out to communities around the world hit by climate change and natural disasters.
But what does that mean in practice? It means lanterns purpose-built for life outdoors: lightweight, dependable, folding down into a rucksack side pocket, working as a lantern, torch or power bank, and topping themselves back up with solar energy along the way. It’s the sort of thing you buy for a camping trip and end up reaching for every time the power flickers.
