Back in 2009, their first product to market was a revolutionary insulated vest filled not with down or synthetic fibres but with argon, an inert gas. But it was in 2010, when Klymit’s Inertia X-frame sleeping pad was launched, that the outdoor industry really began to sit up and take notice. An ultralight, minimalist solution for backpackers, the X-frame was then the lightest full-size sleeping pad ever made.
