These unbleached paper micro-filters are fundamental to why AeroPress coffee tastes so clean and smooth. Unlike metal mesh filters that let oils and fine particles through, these produce a cup that's free of sediment and bitterness whilst allowing the coffee's actual flavour characteristics to shine. This micro-filtration is what sets AeroPress apart from French press brewing – you get full-bodied extraction without bottom-of-the-mug grit to sieve through your teeth. Each natural brown filter is compostable (chuck them in with your coffee grounds), and they're reusable for 2-3 brews if you give them a quick rinse. At 200 filters per pack for the Standard size, you're looking at months of daily brewing before needing a refill. Being unbleached, they’ll appeal to anyone who prefers minimally processed products.
Ever wonder why coffee obsessives bang on about the AeroPress? Because this ridiculously clever bit of kit produces café-quality coffee in about the time it takes to tie your boots. Since 2005, when Stanford engineer Alan Adler turned the coffee world sideways with his plunger-based invention, the AeroPress has sparked a global movement – there's even an annual World Championship for the thing.
What makes it special? Three brewing methods in one compact device. Part French press, part pour-over, part espresso machine – hand-powered air pressure and micro-filtration extract maximum flavour without bitterness. The result is smooth, rich coffee with zero grit, ready in under two minutes whether you're at home or halfway up a fell.
From the travel-ready Go to the double-capacity XL, from glass-and-metal Premium to the multi-coloured Clear range, there's an AeroPress for every scenario: all giving you fast brewing, easy cleaning, and genuinely brilliant coffee.
