The problem with a lot of zip-up fleeces is that they're designed to do double duty as a mid-layer or a light jacket. Which is great in the versatility stakes, but it does mean that they often don't really excel in either role. With that in mind, Snow Peak have come up with one that's explicitly designed to be an outer jacket. Constructed in chunky double-sided Polartec, this unisex fleece features stretch polyester reinforcement panels in high-wear areas like elbows and forearms – rather like the leather patches on your geography teacher's corduroy jacket. Breathable and durable, it's also really warm – with elastic cuff binding, hem adjustment and toasty handwarmer pockets. Snow Peak being sticklers for detail, there are also plenty of useful little touches like a two-way front zip, chin guard and hidden chest pockets.
Snow Peak apparel is designed gender-neutral. Use the fit comparison chart below to determine the best size for you.

Snow Peak's journey began in 1958, when the founder Yukio Yamai, an accomplished mountaineer, created his own line of superior climbing gear. Snow Peak then looked to evolve by shifting its focus from the mountaineering equipment of the past to the camping equipment of the future. Fueled by the booming national interest in auto-camping sweeping across Japan, Snow Peak released a series of radically innovative products which focused on quality, functionality, timeless-durability and considered design.
